Taft Director of Associate Advancement Laura Friedman was quoted in the Cleveland Jewish News article “Firms do their best to on-board first-year attorneys,” which was published on Aug. 12. The article discusses the benefits and opportunities that should be offered to first-year legal associates. Friedman noted that flexibility, mentoring, and experiential learning opportunities are all ways to help first-year associates succeed.  

Friedman, who is resident in Taft’s Cleveland office, serves in a multi-faceted role to support associates with the goal of training, developing, mentoring, and advancing their short-term and long-term professional success. She partners with firm leaders and operational teams to strategically support overall associate advancement and ensure alignment of the firm’s strategies.
