Taft, formerly Sherman & Howard, welcomes highly-regarded domestic relations litigator Lynne A. Weitzel to its Denver office, fortifying the firm’s strategic growth plans in the Mountain West.

A gifted litigator with over 30 years of experience, Weitzel’s domestic relations practice encapsulates a variety of issues. She represents clients in matters including dissolution of marriage, legal separation, division of assets, child support, grandparents’ rights, pre and post-nuptial agreements, and co-habitation and domestic partner agreements. Weitzel has served as an arbiter, mediator, and court appointed special master on more than 1,000 cases involving domestic matters.

“I enjoy helping people resolve difficult family issues and find a path forward, even when they feel stuck,” said Weitzel. “Every case is unique, and I take pride in analyzing each situation closely to find the best possible outcome. I’m a strong advocate for my clients, and I believe creative thinking can make all the difference when it comes to protecting what matters most.”

Prior to joining Taft, Weitzel founded and led a successful family law practice recognized in Best Law Firms as a Tier 1 firm in both family law and family law mediation. She built a highly regarded business focused on helping families reach the best outcomes.
