Eaton Writes on Petitions for Leave to Appeal for Illinois Bar Journal
Taft partner Timothy Eaton contributed the article “Petitions for Leave to Appeal: Smoothing Your Path to Illinois Supreme Court review” to the March 2016 issue of the Illinois Bar Journal. The article shares tips on how to increase the odds that your petition will be reviewed by the Illinois Supreme Court.
Eaton is a senior litigation partner in Taft’s Chicago office, concentrating on appeals, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a former law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and is active in local and national bar associations. He is a past president of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois.
