Eaton to Represent Illinois and Ohio on ABA Board of Governors
Taft partner Timothy Eaton was elected by the American Bar Association (ABA) Nominating Committee at the group’s Feb. 8 meeting to represent District 7: Illinois and Ohio on the ABA Board of Governors. Eaton’s three-year term begins following the ABA annual meeting in August.

Eaton is a senior litigation partner in Taft’s Chicago office, concentrating on appeals, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a former law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and is active in local and national bar associations. He is a past president of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois.
