Taft partner J. Timothy Eaton was quoted in the article “Supreme Court report identifies 2015 cases ready for legislature’s follow-up,” which appeared in the Feb. 2 edition of the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. The article focuses on eight Illinois Supreme Court decisions from 2015 that the General Assembly ‘may wish to consider’ during the new legislative session.
Eaton is a senior litigation partner in Taft’s Chicago office, concentrating on appeals, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a former law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and is active in local and national bar associations. Eaton is a past president of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois.
