Taft partner Barbara Duncombe has been announced as one of the speakers for TEDxDayton 2018 on Oct. 12. The sixth annual TEDxDayton event will include presentations from a diverse group of local thinkers. All of the speakers are from or connected to the Dayton area and were selected from a rigorous application and audition process. Duncombe will speak about her career journey from typist to rainmaker, fighting gender bias along the way. View the speaker lineup here. 

Duncombe is chair of Taft’s Government Contracts practice and a member of the firm’s executive committee. For over 25 years, she has worked with clients in handling all types of government contract issues as well as responding to government investigations and False Claims Act cases and in conducting internal compliance investigations.
