Duffy Authors Book Titled Pay Less Tax - Keep More Profit
Taft partner James E. Duffy has authored a new book titled Pay Less Tax – Keep More Profit: Expert Strategies for Protecting Profits from the IRS. The book is scheduled for release in the coming weeks.
About the Book
Through his experience advising clients and personally investing in real estate, Jim realized the need for a plain English Guide to tax saving strategies for real estate investors. Real Estate may be the most tax-favored form of business in the tax code, but you can’t take advantage of strategies that you are unaware of. Many investors learn a lot about tax strategies over time through trial and error. This book is intended to bypass the trial and error and skip straight to the good stuff – reducing tax and increasing investment return.
About the Author
Jim, a partner in the Minneapolis office of Taft, has been advising clients on federal tax law matters for over 30 years. He has counseled clients that include corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and tax-exempt charities on complying with federal and state tax law and structuring their transactions to minimize income tax. Jim advises on the optimal type of entity for tax purposes, mergers and acquisitions, entity structuring, real estate investment, and tax credit financing for real estate.
