Diamant to Receive Samuel H. Givelber Fellowship Award
Michael H. Diamant will receive the Samuel H. Givelber Fellowship Award from the Case Alumni Association (CAA) at the Case Alumni Association Awards Ceremony at Case Western Reserve University’s campus on Oct. 13, 2023.
The award was established in honor of the late Samuel H. Givelber, a former CAA president who described the association as “the world’s greatest fellowship.” Since 1988, the CAA has been presenting this award to Case alumni who exemplify Sam’s spirit of fellowship, human kindness, and willingness to serve the community.
The CAA is the alumni association for engineering and science graduates. Its mission is to raise funds from engineering and science alumni for student scholarships and to support sciences and engineering at Case Western Reserve University.
Diamant is former president and a life board member of the CAA. He currently serves on the Case Alumni Foundation Board and the Case Advisory Board. He also chaired the Case School of Engineering Visiting Committee from 1993-1999.
Diamant provides clients with targeted litigation and dispute resolution services and legal advice to technology companies and other businesses facing technology-related legal issues. He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1971. Diamant is a fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators and was appointed to the panel of international arbitrators for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. Diamant was named a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has also been named to the Silicon Valley Arbitration & Mediation Center List of the World’s Leading Technology Neutrals and serves on the Center’s Executive Committee.
