Dershaw Elected to Capital University Board of Trustees
Taft Cincinnati partner Brian Dershaw was recently elected to serve as a Trustee on Capital University’s Board of Trustees. Trustees are elected by the board and serve a three-year term, with a maximum of three consecutive terms. Dershaw is a graduate of Capital University and has supported its mission and remained committed to supporting the university and its current and future students for 30 years.
Dershaw is chair of Taft’s Cincinnati Employment and Labor Relations practice, which is comprised of over 20 attorneys who work in the areas of employment, labor, immigration, OSHA, and workers’ compensation. Dershaw’s practice varies between day-to-day advice and counsel; employment, restrictive covenant, and wage and hour litigation and arbitration; labor-management relations; workforce assessment and transition in mergers and acquisitions; and reviewing and drafting agreements and policies. He works across many industries and with employers of all sizes.
