Cors and Nakao Present Seminar on Antitrust Law
On June 20, Taft partners Jeanne M. Cors and Toshio Nakao presented a seminar to more than 30 guests in our Taft Center. The program, geared toward Japanese companies, covered antitrust law and was presented in both Japanese and English.
Cors is a partner in the firm’s Litigation group. She has extensive experience litigating complex antitrust matters, including class actions, and representing clients before federal and state antitrust enforcement agencies. Cors routinely counsels clients on all aspects of antitrust law, including criminal antitrust enforcement, monopolization/attempted monopolization, price discrimination, price-fixing, distribution issues, tying, refusals to deal and exclusive dealing.
Nakao is a partner in the firm’s Business & Finance group and is a native of Japan. Currently his practice centers around the Japanese companies doing business in the United States and American companies either doing or planning to do business in Japan.
