Taft Detroit partner-in-charge Mark Cooper will be a speaker during the ICSC+Law Symposium on Friday March 1, 2024. Cooper will speak on “Leasing 101 – Hot Topics” which will include the following customary provisions within leases: changes to force majeure since COVID, guaranty issues, broad use clause and issues with REAs and Coreas, common insurance issues and assignments.

Mark is partner-in-charge of Taft Detroit, responsible for the strategic direction for the firm’s Southfield and Detroit offices. He counsels a diverse set of clients nationwide on a variety of matters, including risk management, commercial disputes, real estate litigation, business torts and construction and contract disputes, and all aspects of insurance, from both a legal and business perspective.
