Colon Selected as PLEDGE Emerging Leader
Taft Cincinnati attorney Jada Colon was recently selected as a PLEDGE Emerging Leader by the Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the John W. Peck Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Standing for Promoting Lawyer Excellence Through Diversity & Gender Equity, PLEDGE aims to spotlight the professional successes of exceptional lawyers in the greater Cincinnati area at a critical point in their careers. The Diversity & Inclusion Committee recognized seven honorees who possess notable legal experience and exceptional legal talent and skill, and exhibit a commitment and dedication to the workplace and the community in which they practice.
Colon is an associate in Taft’s Litigation practice group and represents clients in a range of complex matters including commercial and contract disputes, consumer financial services litigation, product liability litigation, construction litigation, and intellectual property litigation disputes involving patents, trademarks, or copyrights. Colon earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.S. in communications and political science from Ohio University. She serves on the board of the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati and is a 2024 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder.
