Colom to Speak on Latinas in Legal Field Panel
Taft partner Kiamesha Colom will speak at the “Latinas in the Legal Field” panel discussion, hosted by the Indianapolis Bar Association on Nov. 26. The discussion will feature remarks from Colom and fellow Latina attorneys on their experiences and the value of mentorship for women lawyers, as well as explore initiatives to encourage women and women of color in the legal field.

Colom serves as the Real Estate practice group lead for the Indianapolis office. She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, sale leaseback transactions, and real estate municipality work), real estate lending and commercial finance transactions, and related business transactions. Colom serves on Taft’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and on the board of directors for the Eskenazi Health Foundation, Eskenazi Health Centers, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Indianapolis, and has held numerous other leadership positions.
