Camillucci Will Serve as Panelist at Higher Education Real Estate Lawyers Conference
Taft Chicago partner Karl D. Camillucci will participate in a panel titled “A Pox on Student Housing: Diagnosing the Effect of COVID-19 on P3 Student Housing Projects,” at the Higher Education Real Estate Lawyers (HEREL) Conference on Oct. 21, 2021.
Camillucci will join Will Givhan, president of the Collegiate Housing Foundation, and Sara Russell, managing director of municipal finance for RBC Capital Markets, LLC. The panelists will discuss the financial challenges faced by higher education P3 projects in the age of COVID-19.

Camillucci focuses his practice on public finance, project finance, and economic development, including public-private partnerships (P3s) involving institutions of higher education. He represents governmental and nongovernmental clients regarding a broad range of issues, including tax-exempt and taxable bond transactions, tax increment financing, economic development incentives, development agreements, land use and zoning entitlements, and regulatory compliance.
