Taft partners Jackie Bennett and Bob Hicks will present at the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society’s 9th Annual Timeless Tips from the Bench and Bar Event on Nov. 17. Bennett will speak on the seizure and use of privileged communications by government investigators and Hicks will present tips for reinventing a multi-generational law firm. Bennett is a trial attorney and former federal prosecutor and represents individuals and corporations in high-stakes commercial, civil, and white-collar criminal litigation, as well as regulatory investigations by state and federal agencies.

Hicks is serving his second term as Chairman of Taft’s Executive Committee and Managing Partner of the firm. He focuses his practice on complex business and commercial transactions, private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, structured financings, business advisory services, and structural tax matters.
