Taft partner Philip R. Bautista has been elected to the board of directors for the Asian American Bar Association of Ohio (AABAO). The organization is a nonprofit professional association of Asian-American attorneys, judges, law professors, law students and other interested individuals. The AABAO seeks to foster awareness of issues and concerns facing Asian Americans and to encourage a high level of professional achievement and active participation in the legal profession and in local Asian American communities.

Bautista focuses his practice on litigation and intellectual property, having extensive, first-chair experience litigating intellectual property, technology and cyber security-related matters, as well as general commercial, product liability, engineering and construction matters.
