Baese and Jenkins Appointed as Fellows for ACTEC Minneapolis and Indiana
Taft partners Andrew Baese and Sarah Jenkins have both been appointed as ACTEC fellows in Minneapolis and Indiana. The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) is an organization of trust and estate lawyers and law professors in the United States and around the world. ACTEC’s peer-elected Fellows are at the top of their profession, committed to maintaining excellence in the trust and estate legal field and to continually improving the practice of trust and estate law. ACTEC Fellows are skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning and probate procedure, and administration of trusts and estates of decedents, minors, and incompetents.
Drew is a partner in the Private Client and Estate Planning practice groups. His expertise includes assisting clients in drafting wills and trusts, administering trusts and estates, and preparing related federal income and estate tax returns. Additionally, he is skilled in litigating trust and estate disputes, providing comprehensive support throughout the estate planning process.
Sarah is a partner practicing in the Private Client and Litigation practice groups who has focused on wealth transfer litigation for more than fifteen years. She has trial and appellate experience in cases involving trust and will contests, accounting disputes, guardianships, enforcing charitable pledges, and breach of fiduciary duty and fiduciary removal. Additionally, Sarah advises nonprofits on governance matters and the administration of institutional funds.
