Taft Chicago partner Jonathan Amarilio is the recipient of the Chicago Bar Association’s (CBA) President’s Award for Service to the Bar. The award is given periodically to recognize exceptional service to the association. Amarilio is the current chair of the CBA’s Young Lawyer Section and sits on its Board of Managers.

Amarilio is a member of Taft’s Litigation practice. He focuses on civil appellate litigation and critical motion practice. He has experience representing individuals, small businesses, state and local governments and a number of Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts, primarily the Illinois Appellate Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
