Amarilio Leads Appellate Lawyers Association Virtual Fireside Chat
Taft Chicago partner Jonathan Amarilio led the Appellate Lawyers Association’s Virtual Fireside Chat with the newest judges of the Illinois Supreme Court. The discussion included Justices Lisa Holder White, Joy Cunningham, Elizabeth Rochford, and Mark K. O’Brien. Justices shared insights on their backgrounds, different roads to the bench, and rewards and challenges that come with holding a seat on Illinois’ highest court.
Amarilio serves as co-chair of Taft’s firm-wide Appellate group. He represents individuals, small businesses, state and local governments, and Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts in his civil appellate litigation and critical motion practice. Amarilio serves as President of the Illinois Appellate Lawyers Association and is a frequent author and speaker on various topics.
