Amarilio Chairs Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Group
Taft partner Jonathan B. Amarilio assumed the role of chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Young Lawyer Section ("YLS") from outgoing chair Katie Liss during the group’s annual meeting on June 7. The YLS comprises more than 9,000 young lawyers and offers professional development opportunities, public service projects and numerous educational programs and networking events for its members each year. Amarilio also serves on the CBA's Board of Managers and on the Chicago Bar Foundation's Young Professionals Board.
Amarilio is member of Taft’s Litigation group. He focuses his practice on civil appellate litigation and critical motion practice. He has experience representing individuals, small businesses, state and local governments and a number of Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts, primarily the Illinois Appellate Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
