Taft attorney Henry Alderfer authored the article “How Delaware Courts Approach Effort Commitments,” which was published by Law360 on Jan. 16. The article discusses several recent cases from Delaware that have provided some insight as to how courts analyze and interpret contractual commitments to use various levels of “efforts” under Delaware law.

Alderfer focuses his practice on representing private equity sponsors in a variety of M&A transactions and in the formation and operation of private equity funds.
