USPTO Announces COVID-19 Prioritized Examination Program for Certain Trademark and Service Mark Applications
On June 15, 2020, the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) launched a new COVID-19 prioritized examination program. The USPTO will advance the initial examination of applications for marks used to identify qualifying COVID-19 medical products and services, and will waive the fee for these petitions.
