OIG Releases Fraud Alert
The Office of Inspector General has released a fraud alert, highlighting its continued focus on Federal Anti-Kickback Statute risks resulting from compensation arrangements between hospitals and referring physicians. The fraud alert describes recent settlements with 12 individual physicians who entered into questionable medical directorship and office staff arrangements. The full alert can be accessed here.
