Program Agenda
The Ohio Healthy Families Act appears to be headed for the Ballot in November. Ohio’s employers need to know what to do after the election if it is passed into law, and what to do before the election to ensure that Ohio voters fully understand the impact of this proposal.

Part I – Join us for this advanced two-part discussion on the looming Healthy Families Act. First, Taft attorneys will dissect the compliance issues that will arise under the Healthy Families Act, as well as the complex relationship between the Healthy Families Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the workers’ compensation system.

Part II – The Ohio Chamber of Commerce and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce leadership will describe the business community’s efforts to educate all Ohioans on the impact of this proposal, and what attendees can do to assist in that effort.
