Opportunity Zones 2.0: New Guidance, Transition Rules & Compliance Requirements

Join Taft for an update on Opportunity Zones 2.0 and the new guidance shaping the transition from OZ 1.0. The program will address Notice 2026-40’s transition rules for existing investments, 2026 gains, post-2026 property acquisitions, and projects in expiring OZ 1.0 tracts, as well as proposed regulations that would establish expanded reporting, certification, and compliance requirements for investors, QOFs, and QOZBs.
