Nechemias and Williams to Speak at Southwestern Ohio Tax Institute

Stephen M. Nechemias and Michael S. Williams, attorneys in the Cincinnati office of Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, are speakers at the 52nd Annual Southwestern Ohio Tax Institute sponsored by the Cincinnati Bar Association Taxation Committee.

Both attorneys will present in the afternoon of the first day of the Institute, on Friday, December 2.  Mr. Nechemias will deliver a presentation titled, “State Taxation of Options and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Paid to Non-Residents.” Practicing law since 1969, Mr. Nechemias is a partner in the Tax Department of Taft and is Chair of the firm’s State and Local Tax Practice.

Mr. Williams’ presentation is titled, “2011’s Top 10 Cases and Rulings.”  He is an attorney in the Tax and Private Client Departments of Taft.  Mr. Williams counsels individuals and businesses regarding all aspects of federal and state tax issues, including state and local tax, employee benefits, executive compensation and general tax.

The Institute, which is presented by the Cincinnati Bar Association, is a two-day Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program that attracts CPAs and attorneys from around the region.
