Navigating the AI Landscape: Governance, Policy, and Procurement for Non-profit Leaders

Taft Dayton Partner Zachary Heck, in partnership with Sinclair Community College’s AI Excellence Institute, will host a workshop focused on non-profit leaders navigating the risks and responsibilities of AI adoption. Participants will explore AI governance, acceptable use policies, vendor evaluation, data privacy, and compliance, with practical strategies they can apply within their organizations.

Heck’s practice focuses on privacy, data security, and artificial intelligence counseling. He advises clients on privacy compliance, data governance, information security incidents, and the responsible development and deployment of AI systems. Heck holds several IAPP credentials, including Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), and Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP).
