Lockdown Lessons: What the Pandemic Has Taught Us About Information Security & Corporate Vulnerabilities

Taft Dayton attorney Zachary Heck will present to the Dayton Bar Association (DBA) Corporate Counsel Committee on the latest updates regarding information security and corporate vulnerabilities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The presentation will include an overview of how remote work in recent years has impacted privacy and data security, as well as emerging threats.

The event will include a social hour with food and drinks beginning at 4:30 p.m. with the presentation beginning at 5 p.m.

Heck’s practice focuses on privacy and data security. Specifically, Heck assists clients in the areas of privacy compliance, data governance, and guidance in the aftermath of an information security event, including data breach. Heck has experience advising clients with respect to FTC investigations, federal privacy regulations such as HIPAA, FCRA, TCPA, and GLBA, as well as state laws governing personally identifiable information.
