2014: The Year of Executive Orders and Regulations Imposed on Contractors and Their Supply Chains

Government contractors became the prime target of a number of social policy issues implemented through executive orders and regulations in 2014 — from increasing the minimum wage, to fair pay, to human trafficking, to hiring goals, to changes in small business issues. Each carries its own set of compliance obligations, including, in some cases, the obligation to monitor subcontractor compliance with the same requirements.

To better understand the depth of the various requirements, please join Taft partners Barbara Duncombe and Suzanne Sumner for this 1.5 hour presentation.

Who should attend: Anyone who works with or receives federal funding through contracts, subcontracts or grants.

Cost to attend: The cost to attend is $35, or $25 for government employees, payable by credit card or check on the morning of the seminar. Checks should be made payable to “Taft.”
