Wednesday, May 6, 2026

1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET
Presenter: Patrice Borders, CEO AmplifyEI

Program Description

This Continuing Legal Education program, “Resilient Wellbeing for Legal Professionals,” is designed to strengthen attorneys’ professional competence by developing practical skills in emotional intelligence, resilience, and mindful decision-making within the practice of law. Grounded in neuroscience and the 7 Keys to Emotional Intelligence™ framework, the program addresses common challenges in the legal profession, including stress management, defensiveness to feedback, and difficulty navigating interpersonal dynamics.

Participants will learn how to regulate cognitive and emotional responses, enhance communication with clients and colleagues, and improve professional judgment under pressure. The program emphasizes the connection between emotional awareness and ethical, effective legal practice—equipping attorneys with tools to move from reactive behaviors to intentional, well-reasoned responses.

Through interactive exercises, reflection, and practical frameworks such as Pause–Process–Pick and mindfulness-based centering techniques, attorneys will develop the capacity to manage high-stakes interactions, respond constructively to conflict, and maintain professional resilience in demanding legal environments.
