Program Description:
This CLE equips attorneys with practical knowledge for using generative AI tools (Perplexity, Copilot, West-AI) in daily legal practice. The session covers effective prompting frameworks, six high-impact use cases, and ethical obligations under ABA Model Rules. Participants will learn how to integrate AI into workflows, verify outputs, and address billing and confidentiality concerns.
At the end of the program, attorneys will learn:
- Apply prompting frameworks for legal AI tasks
- Use iterative conversation approach with AI
- Select appropriate AI tools for workflows
- Implement six practical AI use cases
- Navigate ABA Model Rules (1.1, 1.4, 1.6, 3.3, 5.3)
- Understand hallucination risks and verification
- Address billing/efficiency concerns
