Program Description:

This program provides attorneys with the technical and practical grounding needed to identify, trace, value, and divide cryptocurrency assets, including staked digital assets, in high-stakes marital dissolution matters. Presenters will cover blockchain and cryptocurrency fundamentals, staking mechanics, the classification of staked crypto as marital versus separate property, valuation challenges specific to digital assets, and the discovery tools and disclosure obligations attorneys need to identify concealed crypto holdings and support or rebut asset claims.
