Marketing and Events Coordinator

Taft is currently seeking a Marketing and Events Coordinator to join its Phoenix or Albuquerque office.
Taft is a modern law firm and the marketing and business development team is on the front lines of the firm’s innovation. As a valued member of the team, you will get a hands-on experience, collaborating to enhance and maintain Taft’s brand presence.
Essential Duties:
Events
- Support coordination of client-facing events in the Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico markets, including thought leadership seminars and client entertainment events with business development as a core focus.
- Work alongside the Director of Business Development and Sr. Manager of Business Development to coordinate Employment & Labor Relations practice group events across the firm, including managing venue research and communications, event registrations, CRM management, on-site execution, and comprehensive post-event reporting.
- Draft email communications and publish event details on the firm’s website.
- Prepare event materials such as handouts, on-site signage, name tags, and other marketing pieces.
- Facilitate the submission of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit for all of Taft’s major markets (or markets as required) for events with an external audience.
Sponsorships
- Manage the administrative aspects of Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico market sponsorships, coordinating marketing materials, logos, payments, and maintaining event timelines.
- Oversee sponsorship fulfillment, including registrations, ad submissions, and attendee coordination.
Marketing
- Schedule new attorney and paralegal headshots and retakes for the Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico markets.
- Draft attorney news items to increase awareness of Taft’s expertise and tell the Taft story.
- Assist with allocation of local sports tickets in support of attorneys’ client development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of event coordination and general marketing experience.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively interact with attorneys, staff, and clients.
- Demonstrated experience with registration management and e-communication platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for tackling new challenges independently or collaboratively with a team.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
