Taft is seeking a team-oriented Corporate Associate to join the Chicago office.

Taft is seeking a team-oriented Senior Associate to join our Business & Finance practice in Chicago, with a focus on middle-market private equity and transactional work. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and clients on sophisticated transactions across a broad range of industries.

The ideal candidate will have 6–7 years of experience handling substantive corporate and transactional matters, including M&A (buy-side and sell-side), middle-market private equity investments, entity formation and governance, financing and restructuring, fund-related work, and other complex business transactions. Candidates should have strong drafting and negotiation skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage deal execution in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
