Taft is seeking a team-oriented senior associate, of counsel, or junior partner to join the Employment and Labor Relations practice group. The position is fully remote, but the candidate must reside in central California (Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, San Luis Obispo County, Santa Barbara County, Ventura County).
Ideal candidates will have significant experience defending employers in wage-and-hour litigation, including class and collective actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) lawsuits, and single-plaintiff claims. Candidates should have strong research and writing skills as well as experience managing matters through all stages of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, dispositive motions, mediation, and trial preparation.
The successful candidate will work closely with Taft’s Phoenix employment team and must have sufficient availability to service the team’s existing client work.
