Summary
Ying is an attorney in Taft’s Business and Finance practice group. She has experience in legal matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and international transactions.
Ying is qualified to practice law in China and the state of Indiana. Prior to joining Taft, Ying was a judicial extern for the Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush at the Indiana Supreme Court. Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in Cantonese, Ying also worked as a lawyer at a multinational law firm’s Beijing office before she came to the U.S. and obtained her J.D. degree.
A graduate of the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Ying served as Managing Editor of the Indiana Law Journal and the Vice Magister of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi, Foster Inn while pursuing her J.D. degree. She earned her Master of Laws degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and her Bachelor of Laws degree from Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing, China.
