As a paralegal at Taft, Yasushi provides support to Taft's Immigration and Citizenship and Employment Law practice groups. His responsibilities include preparing and filing initial and extension business non-immigration paperwork (B1, E1, E2, F1, H-1B, H-3, L-1 and TN), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) filings and drafting responses to requests for evidence. He also prepares and files family-based and employment-based immigrant visa paperwork (IR and E13) with USCIS. Additionally, Yasushi aids in preparing non-immigrant and immigrant visa paperwork for consular processing with the National Visa Center and overseas U.S. consulates.
Prior to joining Taft, Yasushi worked for an international law firm in Tokyo, Japan. In this role, he was involved in document production such as Japanese work visa applications, trademark applications, bankruptcies and maritime cargo claims.
