Wako Takahashi-Welch is the Japanese client coordinator in Taft's Cincinnati office, where she supports the Japanese practice in the Business & Finance group.
Prior to joining Taft, Wako worked as a corporate administrator and translator/interpreter for numerous Japanese companies based in the United States, with particular experience working with the manufacturing and automobile industries. With over twenty years of experience in corporate Japanese translation and interpretation, Wako is skilled in assisting Japanese clients trying to succeed in the U.S. and understands the unique needs that such clients may have.
Wako earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from Kansai University in Japan, and her master’s degree in International Development from Cornell University.
