Rebekah Cohen Israel is an associate in Taft's Real Estate Finance practice group. She advises clients on all aspects of real estate purchase and sale transactions, lending, commercial leasing, real estate due diligence, title and escrow matters, and general business/corporate matters.
Before joining Taft, Rebekah was an associate with a well-known regional law firm and focused her practice on entity formation, purchases and/or sales, organizational changes and succession planning, and mergers and acquisitions.
Rebekah earned her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she was the editor-in-chief of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. She also earned her Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in executive management from the University of Mary and her bachelor's degree in criminal justice from North Dakota State University.
