Paul is an associate in Taft's Commercial Litigation group in Chicago focusing on employment law, privacy, and information security. He has extensive experience representing and counseling clients on compliance and litigation relating to the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act. 

Prior to joining Taft, Paul was a litigation associate at an international law firm where he handled matters involving commercial contracts, product liability, single-plaintiff discrimination, bankruptcy litigation, biometric privacy, and trade secret and restrictive covenants.  There, Paul also served as a chair of the firm’s Workplace Privacy and Biometrics practice group.

Paul earned his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Loyola University Chicago.
