Summary
Megan focuses primarily on energy facility siting and permitting, utility ratemaking, public utility and energy industry regulation, and general corporate and commercial transactions. Megan’s work has included assisting clients in siting and obtaining permits for renewable energy facilities; representing utilities in contested rate case proceedings; obtaining regulatory approvals for electric and natural gas infrastructure projects; and assisting clients with environmental and regulatory due diligence. Megan regularly appears before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio.
Megan earned her J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. While in law school, she served as an articles editor for the Ohio State Law Journal, where her Note was selected for publication. She externed for Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor of the Supreme Court of Ohio.
Prior to law school, she worked in a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) facility where she performed sampling, characterization, and analysis of organosynthetics and other advanced materials. She earned a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Oregon.
