Summary

Max is an attorney in Taft’s Minneapolis office and focuses his practice on all aspects of business law.

Prior to joining Taft, Max worked as an in-house corporate counsel and second attorney at a multi-billion dollar valued conversational AI startup. Max has experience providing outside general counsel and transaction support services to entrepreneurs and C-level leaders at high-growth technology-enabled companies. He is also skilled in leading private equity and venture capital finance transactions and buy- and sell-side M&A transactions.

Max earned his J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School and his bachelor’s degree in government and environmental studies, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College. Following law school, Max clerked for the Hon. Ronald M. Gould, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, in Seattle, Washington.
