Leigh focuses her practice on commercial development and leasing transactions, representing private real estate companies and investors in a variety of matters, including managing and restructuring commercial holdings.
She has represented purchasers and sellers in real estate acquisitions, landlords and tenants in retail, office and industrial lease negotiations, and large institutional banks in lending transactions. She has also restructured partnership, corporate and LLC entities as a result of real estate transactions.
For more than 20 years, Leigh has played a key role in shaping the landscape of many of Greater Cleveland’s most diverse neighborhoods and business communities, through her wide-ranging real estate practice serving high profile developers and finance institutions. She has managed leasing matters and financings for several Class A commercial properties in downtown Cleveland encompassing more than one million square feet. She has also represented Case Western Reserve University in real estate matters including Uptown Cleveland, the arts and entertainment district located in University Circle, and she participated in the revitalization of the Lorain Avenue & W. 25th Street neighborhood.
Leigh is licensed in Ohio, New York and Illinois. She is a member of the 2010 Class of Crain's Cleveland Business "Forty Under 40." Leigh is a member of the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center Advocates Advisory Board and Brain Tumor Subcommittee. The Center, based at Case Western Reserve University, supports cancer-related research and clinical efforts through affiliates CWRU, University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, and Cleveland Clinic.
Leigh is nationally recognized for her real estate law practice and is listed in the 2010-2019 editions of The Best Lawyers in America and as an Ohio Super Lawyer from 2015-2019. She was honored by Crain's Cleveland Business as one of the Notable Women in Real Estate in 2018.
