Junru Zhao

Junru is an attorney at Taft, where she concentrates her practice on transactional matters. She advises clients across a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. 

Prior to joining Taft, Junru was an associate in the Business, Tax, and Real Estate group at a law firm in Dayton, Ohio. 

Junru earned her J.D. from Washington University School of Law, where she was a senior editor of the Washington University Jurisprudence Review. While in law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marianne B. Bowler in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, in accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University. 

Junru is a native speaker of Mandarin Chinese.
