John is an attorney in Taft's Indianapolis office and focuses his practice on transactional and business aspects of the law, representing a wide variety of clients including private equity, small and medium-sized companies, and nonprofit entities. John assists his clients to grow and expand by helping them navigate regulatory compliance and facilitating commercial transactions including mergers, acquisitions, and real estate transactions. John attended Purdue University, studied Management, and graduated in three years with the highest distinction. John also obtained a master's degree in Finance from Purdue, where he was named a Krannert Scholar.
John attended Indiana University at the Maurer School of Law in Bloomington and graduated cum laude. He received an award for oral advocacy during the Sherman Minton Moot Court competition. He was also a summer editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.
During law school, John worked in the general counsel’s office at Indiana University. He has also worked as a summer law clerk for Judge Melissa May of the Indiana Court of Appeals and Justice Steven David of the Indiana Supreme Court. Additionally, John was a summer law clerk for Judge Jon DeGuilio in the Northern District of Indiana.
John enjoys reading biographies, history, and theology. He also enjoys swimming, long distance running, and hiking. He attends Southside Reformed Presbyterian Church. John has served on the board of directors of the Boone County Economic Development Corporation and currently serves on the board of directors of the Indiana Leadership Prayer Breakfast.
