
Summary
Inma is an associate in Taft’s Cincinnati office in the Tax group and focuses her practice on compliance and regulatory matters. She has experience working with multiple aspects of finance and tax law, including the tax treatment of bond issuances, including the eligibility for tax exempt status and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Inma was a public finance attorney with a well-known regional firm where she worked on complex matters relating to bond resolutions, bond purchase agreements, leases, and disclosure materials, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. She also gained valuable experience during law school as a legal extern at the Office of General Counsel for the City of Cincinnati.
Inma earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in international studies and English literature from Miami University. While in law school, Inma was an executive member of the Intellectual Property and Computer Law Journal, an executive board member of the National Lawyers Guild, and a Social Justice Fellow at the Nathaniel R. Jones Center for Race and Social Justice.
