Emily Mickelson is an Associate focused on energy and utilities and environmental matters. Prior to joining Taft, she was a Water Resources Engineer for a large Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) surveying & engineering services company.
Emily received her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and her Bachelor of Bioproducts & Biosystems Engineering from the University of Minnesota - College of Science and Engineering. Her legal work includes serving as a law clerk for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), a law student extern for Collaborative Community Law Initiative (CCLI), and a law student intern for Violence Free Minnesota (VFMN). She brings unique expertise and perspective to legal matters involving environmental, renewable energy, and energy needs.
