Summary

Courtney focuses her practice on litigation. Previously, she served as an assistant deputy public defender in New Jersey’s Office of Parental Representation, where she defended clients in court hearings, such as preliminary, and compliance review hearings, pre-trial conferences and bench trials. She has counseled clients regarding admissions of guilt and negotiations and has researched, drafted and argued motions. She has experience preparing opening and closing statements, and conducting direct and cross-examinations for trials.
