Azra Naqvi

Azra Naqvi is an associate in Taft's Real Estate practice group in Chicago.

Prior to joining Taft, Azra was an associate with a regional law firm where she managed complex business and tax law issues, including transactions financed by the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) and low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC). Before starting her legal career, Azra worked as a site director for a nonprofit youth organization that served predominantly low-income communities in the New York City metropolitan area.

Azra earned her J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where she was a member of the Art and Cultural Property Law Society and the Muslim Law Students Association. She received a bachelor's degree in political science, with honors, from Hofstra University.
