Ashley is an associate in the Litigation group, focusing her practice on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts. Her experience includes matters across a range of industries involving contract disputes, bankruptcy, consumer class actions, internal investigations, trade secrets, and legal malpractice. She is involved in various aspects of litigation, including legal research, offensive and defensive discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial.
Prior to joining Taft, Ashley was employed by a global law firm as a litigation associate in Cleveland, Ohio. During law school, Ashley gained valuable court experience through various extern positions. She served as a Legal Extern to Chief Judge R. Guy Cole, Jr. for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Columbus, Ohio, as well as a Legal Extern for the Capital Habeas Unit of the Office of the Federal Public Defender in the Southern District of Ohio. Ashley was also employed by the Wrongful Conviction Project of the Office of the Ohio Public Defender in Columbus, Ohio.
Ashley supports a variety of pro bono initiatives in Northeast Ohio. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
